'Ovejas en las terrazas de Olivo en Soller'
The mountains around Soller Valley are full of the clanging bells of the sheep as they graze on what little grass there is. Each movement results in the bell clanging which makes spotting them easy but its a good job there are not large herds of them! They roam the steep old arabic terraces which are planted with old Olive trees which are knurled and twisted with age and hard pruning. The trees themselves are pieces of natural architecture each unique and some hundreds of years old.
The sheep themselves are many different shades some white, some dark brown and many every shade in between. they appear oblivious to the heat and only interested in their search for food.
