The Ladies Picnic in the Setting Sun on the HaHa

A glorious day and folk were enjoying the Sunday afternoon chatting and drinking on the Lawn in Bath. I wish i had taken some sketches or photos but i didn't and so i find myself having to juggle things from one picture i have.

It is probably the most difficult painting i have attempted with people you know, a complex scene

and strong light a nd contrast and Annie asking where she is?
